registration forms for Upward Fall Soccer. Early Registration is $70.00. After July 13th the cost is $90.00. Open to all boys and girls 4 years old to

July 2-August 7, 2009 - Mixed Bag at The Cultural Arts Center
The Cultural Arts Council of Douglasville/Douglas County is pleased to present
its summer show, "Mixed Bag", a lively display of ceramics, turned wood and
handmade furniture, quilts and other textiles, stained and slumped glass,
jewelry, and embellished gourds by thirteen local artists and artisans. The
exhibition opened on June 4th and is on view through August 7, 2009. Hosted by
the Historical Society Chapter of Douglas County, the Arts Council's annual Ice
Cream Social serves as a special reception for the show and will be held on
Sunday July 12, from 2 until 5 pm. This event is free and open to the public.
July 3, 2009 - 4th Annual Villa Rica Fireworks Display
6:00 pm, Villa Rica Civic Center and Sports Complex, 1605 Hwy 61. Come and be a
part of the largest fireworks display in West Georgia.The Villa Rica Parks & Recreation Department invites you to attend our 4th Annual Fireworks Display.
The ATLANTA RHYTHM SECTION will perform from 7:00pm until the fireworks display
begins. Enjoy face painting, inflatable slides, the full Atlanta Braves Mobile
Experience, the full Atlanta Hawks Experience, the Thrashers Experience, hot
air balloon tethered rides and other activities. Concessions will be available
throughout the park for purchase of delicious foods and cold soft drinks.
6:00pm: Pre-fireworks activities; 7:00pm: Atlanta Rhythm Section; 9:00pm:
Fireworks display.
